Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, who sees it, and how long we keep it.
We never ask for a payment method, and we never handle your money. There's nothing to deposit, so we hold no card details, no bank details and no funds. The only payment-shaped thing we store is the handle you tell us to send a prize to.
1 What we collect
From Kick, when you log in
Your Kick account id, username, display name and avatar. That's your account here - we never see or store your Kick password.
From Discord, if you connect it
Your Discord id, username and avatar, and whether you're a member of the streamer's Discord server. Connecting is optional, but it's one of the requirements to be eligible for prizes, and it's how winners get contacted.
Payout handles, if you save one
A casino username or a crypto address, whichever you choose to enter. We store it only so a prize can be sent to it. You can change or clear it at any time on your account page.
What you do on the site
Rounds you play and their results, coin and XP history, rank, items, leaderboard entries, challenge and raffle entries, and the provably-fair seeds and bet numbers needed to verify a result. Chat messages you post, along with the name and avatar you had when you posted them, plus moderation records - mutes, bans, and which messages were removed and by whom. If you upload a custom avatar, that image.
Technical
Your IP address is used to rate-limit logins and block abuse, and appears in ordinary web-server logs. We don't keep it against your account.
Google Analytics
Every public page loads Google Analytics 4, which sets its own cookies and tells Google which pages were viewed, plus rough device, browser and location information. We use it to see which parts of the site people use. Admin pages do not load it. You can block it with any tracker blocker or your browser's settings, and the site works exactly the same.
2 Why we collect it
- To run your account, your balance and the games.
- To decide who is eligible for a prize, and to get a prize to them.
- To keep the site usable - rate limits, anti-cheat, chat moderation, and spotting people running several accounts.
- To let results be independently verified, which is why seeds and bet numbers are kept with a round.
- To understand how the site is used, in aggregate.
3 Who it goes to
We do not sell your data, and we don't run ads on it. It's shared only in these cases:
- The streamer paying your prize gets your display name and the payout handle you saved. There's no other way for them to pay you.
- Publicly, on the site and on stream: your display name, avatar, rank, leaderboard positions, chat messages, and wins - including any bet you or someone else shares into chat. Treat all of that as public.
- Kick and Discord, to sign you in and check server membership. Their privacy policies are their own.
- Google, through Analytics, as above.
- Where the law requires it, or to investigate fraud, cheating or abuse.
4 How long we keep it
- Chat: a rolling window of the most recent messages - roughly the last 500 - after which older ones are deleted from the database. Messages a moderator removes are hidden immediately and are visible only to moderators until they age out of that window.
- Bets shared into chat: deleted once the message carrying them has aged out.
- The live feed of recent rounds is held in memory only and is gone whenever the server restarts.
- Leaderboard wins: each player's best results per game are kept, and older ones are trimmed away automatically.
- Your account, coin and XP history: kept while your account exists.
5 Your choices
- Disconnect Discord or clear your payout handles yourself, on your account page, at any time.
- Ask for a copy of what we hold about you, or ask us to delete your account. Message @JimCodes on Telegram from the accounts in question so we can tell it's you.
- Deleting your account removes your profile, coins, XP, rank and payout handles. Chat messages already sent may remain until they age out of the window above, and a past prize we have a record of paying may be kept.
- Block Analytics with a tracker blocker - nothing on the site depends on it.
- Depending on where you live you may have further rights over your data. Ask and we'll do our best to honour them.
6 Cookies and local storage
- A login cookie, so you stay signed in. Necessary - without it there's no account.
- Local storage in your browser for preferences, like whether the chat panel is open and how tall you dragged it. This never leaves your device.
- Google Analytics cookies, as described above.
7 Children
The site is for people 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18. If you believe a child is using the site, tell us and we'll remove the account and its data.
8 Security
We take reasonable steps to protect what we hold, but no site can promise perfect security. Please don't put anything private into chat - it's public, and it's broadcast on stream.
9 Changes and contact
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. For anything about your data - questions, a copy, or deletion - message @JimCodes on Telegram.
